Elizabeth Ann Mireles

Elizabeth Ann Mireles, age 61 passed away at her home in Sunray, TX on August 6th, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at 10 o’clock in the morning at Sunray Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Houston, pastor of the church, officiating, and assisted by Elizabeth’s brother Ralph Mireles. Interment will follow at Brown Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted with Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Elizabeth was born November 14, 1959, in Dalhart, TX to Jose (Joe) and Mary Delia “Nana” (Valdez) Mireles. She was a faithful member of Sunray Baptist Church and had many friends there. On June 9, 1990, she married Raymond (Ronnie) Tijerina, and they made Sunray their home. She was a homemaker and spent most of her time raising her children to be good citizens. Anybody that knew Liz knew her beauty and her contagious smile. Holder of many titles’ daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother had a glow unparalleled by any other. Liz had an undying love for Jesus, her children, family, and friends.She is preceded in death by her father: Jose (Joe) Santos Mireles.Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Mary; her husband: Raymond “Ronnie” Tijerina; her sons: Mark Ward of Beaumont, TX, Ricky Ward and wife April of Dumas, TX, Robert Ward and wife Jennie of Dalhart, TX, Christian Tijerina of Little Elm, TX, Patrick Tijerina of Abilene, TX; sister: Monica Dodson and husband Scotty of Sunray, TX; brothers: Joaquin Mireles of Sunray, TX, Ralph Mireles and wife Beverley of Canyon, TX, Charles Mireles and wife Kim of Dallas, TX, Steve Mireles of San Angelo, TX; grandchildren: Austin, Savannah, Creed, Gauge. Drake and wife Gissele, Kevin, Darrian, Tre, Anthony, Zooey, Brenden, Levi, Mar’lei, Kamdyn; and many numerous nieces and nephews, friends, and family.
