Elizabeth Ann Farni, 54 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Johnny Widener officiating. Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock in the evening on Friday at the funeral home.
Elizabeth was born on January 13, 1967, in Dumas, TX to Larry and Janie (Roberts) Venable. She was raised in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School. She married Billy Farni in 1985 in Dumas, TX where they made their home and raised their three daughters. Elizabeth was an excellent homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She also loved jewelry, animals, flowers, her fashion and nails. She loved to dress nice and sparkle but also loved to fish and camp. Elizabeth’s was very involved in her church, Liberty Baptist Church in Dalhart. Above all, she loved her family and grandchildren, nothing brought her more joy.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Billy of the home; daughters: Shasta Grice and Bubba Jones, Sabra Henry and husband Kasey all of Dumas, TX and Savannah Rhoades and husband Austin of Borger, TX; grandchildren: Zackry Grice, Kyler Henry, Zaelee Jones, Kyndle Henry, Creed Rhoades and Gauge Rhoades; brother: David Venable and wife LeAnn of Dumas, TX; sister: Michelle Mahaffee and husband Bob of Spearman, TX; her best friend, Janet Perkins and husband James and numerous other extended family members.
