Elizabeth Loree Lasater

Elizabeth Loree Lasater, 97 of Borger, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2 o\x92clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Westlawn Memorial Park in Borger with Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor of Temple Baptist Church, officiating. Family Visitation will be at the funeral home in Dumas from 6 to 8 pm in the evening on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Elizabeth was born on September 24, 1917 in Midland, TX to Marian and Ora (McCormick) Yarborough. She was a beautiful, loving, and devoted homemaker, who loved taking care of her family. Elizabeth cherished spending time with her family especially her grandbabies. She enjoyed golfing, and water skiing and telling stories. Elizabeth was a member of First Christian Church in Borger. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chock Lasater; two brothers; and a great-granddaughter. Elizabeth is survived by two sons: Ron Lasater and wife Monet of Dumas, TX, Haydon Harry \x93Sonny\x94 Lasater and wife Ava of Morrilton, AR; grandchildren: Jackey Lasater and wife Marilyn of Beach City, TX, Brandt Lasater and wife Becky of Hull, TX, Doug Lasater of Agoura, CA, Thad Lasater and wife Melanie of Dumas, TX; eleven great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
