Early February 6, 2022, Ella Longley Collins passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was 71 years old. Ella or “Nana” as she was better known was born on June 10, 1950, in Arkansas. On June 13, 1966, Ella married the love of her life, Charles Collins in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Just 5 short years later, Ella and Charles moved to Sunray, Tx to start their lives together. In Sunray, she raised her sons Walter and Johnny. Ella dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She lived to spoil her babies. She lived the remainder of her life in Sunray with Charles and was a member of the Sunray Bible Baptist Church. She was a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and sister and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Maxine Longley, brother, Dewey Longley, and son, Walter Faux.
She is survived by her husband Charles Collins of Sunray, son Johnny Faux of Dumas, grandchildren, Jonathon Faux of Amarillo, Jeremiah & Kristen Faux of Snyder, Azlee & Derrick Benton of Uvalde, Zacc & Shasta Faux of Dumas, Walter Faux III of North Carolina, and Emily Faux of Sunray, siblings, Effie Clubb of Arkansas, Evelyn & Ralph Gregory of Sunray, and Roberta Longley of Arkansas, as well as many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces & nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Seth Seale officiating.
