Elliott Edley Crabtree, 80 of Dalhart, passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Stratford with Pastor Terry Stegall, officiating. Interment will follow at Stratford Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock in the evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Elliott was born on June 4, 1940 in Dalhart, TX to James and Mary (Elliott) Crabtree. He was a graduate of Stratford High School. Elliott married the love of his life, Cynthia Heil on February 6, 1955 in Stratford, TX. Elliott was a true example of a family man and a man of faith. Family was his greatest treasure; he adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Elliott was of Christian faith and loved his Lord and Savior Jesus. He will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his parents.Elliott is survived by his wife Cindy, of the home; sons: Chris Crabtree of Kansas City, MO and Corey Crabtree and wife Patsy of Conlen, TX; daughter: Carla Hood and husband Kevin of Keller, TX; grandchildren: Morgan Crabtree and wife Whitney of Conlen, TX, Megan Burton and husband Eric of Dumas, TX, Courtney Bailey of Keller, TX, Madison Crabtree of Kansas City, MO, Gracie Crabtree of Kansas City, MO, Blayz Hood of Keller, TX; great-grandchildren: Adrienne Crabtree, Jett Crabtree, and Callan Crabtree; sister: Elaine Horne and husband Conlen, TX.
