Eric Dell Hibbs

Eric Dell Hibbs, 26 of Panhandle passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 1 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Watson, pastor of the church, officiating assisted by Pastor Brent Warren, pastor of The River in Panhandle. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Eric was born on January 5, 1998, in Dumas, TX to Donald and Kristie (Jennings) Hibbs. He grew up in Panhandle and after school went to work at Tyson Foods in Amarillo. Eric loved to mechanic and had a great passion for the outdoors. He loved people, children and animals. Eric had a very soft heart and a genuine concern and compassion for others. Eric was a member of the River in Panhandle where he was baptized and saved. He was also very active in the men’s ministry there.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Robert R. Hibbs, John and Lorena Palmer and Shirley Bailey; aunt: Michelle Pearson.

Eric is survived by his dad: Don Hibbs and wife Sherrie of Panhandle, TX; mother: Kristie Bailey and husband David of Dumas, TX; brothers: Gary Hibbs of Panhandle, TX, Gage Bailey of Dumas, TX; grandparents: Linda Hibbs of Dumas, TX, Kathy Jennings and husband Mark of Dumas, TX; uncles: Robert Hibbs of Dumas, TX, Nathan Jennings and wife Linsey of Lampasas, TX along with numerous other extended family members.
