Esperanza Machado

Esperanza Machado, 82, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Templo Maranata Santidad Pentecostal with Pastor Enrique Venegas, pastor of the church, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Esperanza was born March 14, 1936 in Mexico to Graciana Soriano and Isidro Machado. She was a homemaker. Esperanza enjoyed reading, listening to praise music, cooking gorditas for her family, but nothing brought more joy to her life than attending church and being with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Cosme Cervantes. Survivors include her children, Maria Rubio and husband Marco of Dumas, Miguel Cervantes Machado of Dumas, Emiliano Cervantes Machado and wife Genoveva Valles of Mexico, Rosalia Almanza and husband Oscar of Dumas, Maria Isabel Cervantes of Mexico, Maria Nicolasa Cervantes and husband Rafael Ramos of Mexico, Juana Cervantes and husband Victor Duque of Denver, Colorado, Joel David Cervantes and wife Olivia Estrada of Denver, Lucia Margarita Cervantes of Mexico; twenty seven grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; brothers, Jose Isabel Machado of Houston, Consuelo Machado of Mexico; sister, Conception Machado of Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
