Estevan "Steve" San Miguel

Estevan “Steve” San Miguel, 62 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023.  Graveside services will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at the Dumas Cemetery with David San Miguel officiating.  Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors.

Steve was born on August 11, 1960, in Dumas, TX to Juan Sr. and Andrea (Santana) San Miguel.  He grew up in Dumas where he graduated from Dumas High School serving as Class President and captain of the football team. Steve was a hard worker and earned his master’s degree in environmental science from Columbia Southern University.  He was united in marriage to Kimberly Goldsmith on December 24, 2017, in Dumas, TX.  Steve loved to fish, read the Bible and watch movies.  He also enjoyed music and dancing.  Steve was very caring and loved his family deeply.  He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents and 10 brothers and sisters.

Steve is survived by his wife, Kimberly of the home; children: Shaylee San Miguel of Amarillo, TX and Derick San Miguel and wife Krystal of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Harlee San Miguel, Emilia San Miguel and Huck San Miguel; siblings: Estella San Miguel, Richard San Miguel and Raquel San Miguel; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
