Eva Lou Terrell, 69, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 in Amarillo. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 28, 2009 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Howe, pastor of the church officiating. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery, Sunray, with graveside rites by Eastern Star Chapter 653 of Dumas. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Eva Lou Terrell was born June 28, 1940 in Slaton, Texas to Jay and Blanche Butler. On April 1, 1960 she married David T. Terrell in Etter, Texas. She was a self-employed farm wife for 49 years. She loved chasing after her grandchildren and was a faithful garage sale shopper. She was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 653. Eva Lou had been a resident of Dumas and Moore County since 1944 and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include; her husband, David of the home; son, John Terrell and wife, Toni of Amarillo; daughters, Jaylyn Alexander of Amarillo, Joann Terrell of Borger; her parents, Jay and Blanche Butler of Dumas; sister, Sharon J. Barnes and husband, Dale of Bryan; grandsons, David G. Terrell, Jason and Bradley Alexander all of Dumas,Nicholas Alexander of Amarillo, granddaughter, Kayla Terrell of Borger and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
