Eva Wilson

Eva Wilson, 93, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009 in Dumas. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rick Korsmo, pastor of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Eva Wilson was born December 22, 1915 in Rankin, Oklahoma to Henry and Ema Cline. On November 20, 1937 she married Elbert Red Virgil Wilson at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 21, 1993. She worked for Phillips Manor for many years. She loved gardening and raising flowers. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Eva had been a resident of Dumas since 1942 and was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include; son, Walter H. Wilson of Dumas; grandson, William Virgil Wilson of Terryville, CT; granddaughter, Karen Annette Wichmann of Springfield, MO; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson. The family suggests memorials be to Bible Baptist Church, Building Fund, 222 W. 1st, Dumas, TX 79029. The family will be at 1211 Beard in Dumas.
