Evangelina Sida

Evangelina (Carrasco) Sida, 60 of Dumas, passed away early Friday morning November 22, 2019. Funeral services are scheduled for a later date in Hayward, CA. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Evangelina was born February 20, 1959 in Santiago Papasquiaro, Mexico to Felipe Carrasco and Alejandrina Gomez. She married Maximino Sida on January 6, 1981 and they would make California their home. After many years, she would follow her family to Dumas. Evangelina was a wonderful mother and was the nucleus of the family. She loved to cook and her enchiladas were enjoyed by everyone. Evangelina had a very strong faith and was a member of St. Clements Church in Hayward, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents; son: Jesus Felipe; and sister: Consuelo Chavez. Evangelina is survived by her husband, Maximino Sida of the home; daughters: Yadira and Ericka Sida both of Dumas, TX; brothers: Felipe Carrasco, Artemio Carrasco and Arturo Gomez all of Hayward, CA; sister: Rosa Maria Carraso of Hayward, CA. and numerous extended family members.
