Everett Yearwood

Everett Yearwood, 77 of Dumas, passed away on February 27, 2015. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 10 o\x92clock in the morning on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Richard Rhodes, officiating, assisted by Brad Yearwood, grandson. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Everett was born on August 19, 1937, to George and Cora (Hoggatt) Yearwood in Pampa, TX. He was a long-time resident of Dumas and worked for SPS for over 45 years until his retirement. He was united in marriage on June 4, 1958 to Sheila Patterson; she preceded him in death in 2011. Everett was an excellent woodworker and enjoyed playing golf. He proudly served his country in U.S. Army. Everett is survived by sons: Russ Yearwood and wife Carrie of Indiana and Mark Yearwood and wife Kim of Lubbock; daughters: Janice Yearwood of Plainview and Cheryl Town and husband Todd of Amarillo; grandchildren: Michala Berend and husband Brent, Tanner Yearwood, Ashley Yearwood, Chelsea Gould and husband Kody, Brad Yearwood; great-grandchildren: Maddy and Emma, Brigham, Zoey, and Emery. The family suggest memorials be made to a favorite charity. The family will be at 509 Bruce.
