Frances Ponchita Robins

Frances "Ponchita" Robins, 88 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 10 oclock in the morning on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Northlawn Memorial Gardens with Ramon Muniz officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Frances was born on December 29, 1931 in Dallas TX to Thomas and Helen (Spiller) Mitchell. She married T.C. Robins on September 2, 1976 in Dumas TX where the couple would make their home. Frances was a people person who was always willing to visit with anyone. She was a member of the St. Pauls Episcopal Church in Dumas and her church and religion were very important to her. She also loved her family, especially her grandchildren who her world revolved around. Frances will be greatly missed by all the friends and family who loved her. Frances was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Cheryl Givens. Frances is survived by her husband, T.C. Robins of the home; children: Ron Robins and wife Kay of Fritch, TX, Sue McClary and husband John of Dumas, TX, David Robins and wife Jerry of Amarillo, TX, Mark Robins of Dumas, TX, Paul Trosper and wife Janet of Washington State, Gary Trosper and wife Dawn of Broken Arrow, OK, Nina Robins and Chris of Amarillo, TX, Misti Cantrell and husband Jason of Hot Springs, SD, Tish Robins of Amarillo, TX, Kimberli Robins and husband Rick of Dumas, TX; sister, Marion Barbaree and husband David of Waller, TX; 28 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren who affectionately called her "Mimi".
