Francisco "Frank" Rodriguez

Francisco “Frank” Rodriguez, 69 of Sunray passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2024. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor Seth Seale, officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Frank will be available for viewing at the funeral home in Sunray from 1 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the evening on Sunday. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. 

Frank was born on December 22, 1954, to Jose and Isabel (Reyes) Rodriguez. He was united in marriage to Lidia Gonzales on February 3, 1972, in Dimmitt. TX. Frank had lived in Sunray for 32 years and worked at Dumas Co-op as a truck driver for over 30 years. He enjoyed working with his hands and could fix anything, including performing maintenance on co-ops and gins in the area. He enjoyed anything outdoors, but his main passion was hunting. Frank will be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Jose Angel Rodriguez, Estella Leyva, Martina Moreno, Carmen Ruiz, and Maurillo Rodriguez. 

Frank is survived by his wife, Lidia of the home; children: Annita Williams and husband Scott of Lubbock, TX, Frank Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Ashley of Amarillo, TX, Brenda Vargas and husband Jesus of Sunray, TX; grandchildren: Jessica, Jeremy, Stefen, Katie, Miriam, Haylee, Leah, Adrienne, Brynlee and Lili; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters: Margaret Hernandez, Janie Moreno, Guadalupe Rodriguez; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
