Frankie Marston, 69, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2011. Services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. on Monday, February 14, 2011 at First Christian Church in Dumas. Rev. Darrell Wait, pastor of the church will be officiating. Interment will follow in Brown Memorial Cemetery in Sunray. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Frankie was born on December 28, 1941 in Charleston, Arkansas to Malcolm and Ruth Alice Meeks. She married Billy Bob Marston on June 29, 1970 in Clayton, New Mexico. They shared their life together in the Dumas community. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2007. Frankie was employed as a migrant clerk for the Dumas Independent School District.
Frankie was very artistic. She worked on various arts crafts projects. Her other hobbies included sewing, quilting and scrap booking. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Frankie is survived by two daughters, Tonya Salas of Amarillo and Kim Marston of Dumas one son, Brant Marston and wife Samantha of Wichita Falls one grandson, Coby Atchison of Amarillo four granddaughters, Kaili Atchison and Mykala Salas of Amarillo, and Brittney and Shalea Nevarez of Dumas and four greatgrandchildren.
