Gary Lynn Kinikin

Gary Lynn Kinikin, 70 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Bruce Broxson, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Gary was born on August 6, 1951, to Delva Ray and Wilma (Ellis) Kinikin in Dumas, TX. Gary grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Army where he guarded missiles while stationed in Germany. In 1979 he married Linda Zeller in Sunray. Gary truly found his calling when he became a grandfather. His grandchildren affectionately called him “Grumpy”. He was of Christian faith and will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father; siblings: Kathy, Richard, Carol, Wilma, and Ernest.Gary is survived by his wife Linda, of the home; daughter: Kristy Kinikin of Dumas, TX; son: Jason Kinikin and wife Jennifer of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Xander Kinikin, Julia Kinikin, Jordan “JoJo” Kinikin; sister: Cindy Kinikin of Dumas, TX; brother: Tommy Kinikin of Dumas, TX; mother: Wilma Baker of Dumas, TX.
