Genevieve Harrison

Genevieve Harrison, 90 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, June 26, 2015 at First Street Church with Rev. Chauncey Spencer, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Genevieve was born September 24, 1924, to Barney and Jennie (Stasey) Bishop in Erath County, TX. She was united marriage to Ernest Harrison on July 12, 1943 in Weatherford, TX; he preceded her in death in 1988. She was a devoted homemaker and an avid birdwatcher. Genevieve was a member of First Street Church in Dumas and enjoyed the many friends and hours of bible study. She will be dearly missed by her family and church friends. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and five brothers and sisters. Genevieve is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
