Guadelupe Soto

Guadelupe Soto, 55 of Dumas passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 o’clock in the morning on Monday August 30, 2021 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Guadelupe was born on May 29, 1966 in Ballinger, TX to Jesus and Felicitas (Lujan) Soto. He attended Dumas schools and graduated from Dumas High School. Guadelupe worked for the City of Dumas for 5 years in the Wastewater Management. His favorite hobby was playing pool. Guadelupe will be remembered for his generous heart. He was a selfless hardworking man sometimes generous to a fault. Guadelupe will be truly missed and always remembered and loved. He was preceded in death by his parents. Guadelupe is survived by his sisters: Carmen Soto of Abilene, TX, Maria Garcia and husband Ernest of Balch Springs, TX, Christina Morales and husband Francisco of Dumas, TX, Herminia Murga of Dumas, TX, Irene Soto and Eugenio Machado of Dumas, TX; brother: Raymond Soto and wife Angela of Amarillo, TX and Jose Manuel Soto of Dumas, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
