Helen M. Miller

Helen M. Miller, 85, of Dumas, Texas, died July 22, 2006, in Dumas. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Don Poole, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church of Dumas, Texas. Burial will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. Born August 3, 1920, in Owasso, Oklahoma, she had been a Dumas resident since 1936. She married Julian Taft Miller on October 28, 1939, at Clayton, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on November 12, 1999. She was also preceded by a granddaughter, Carrisa Lynn Miller.She was a homemaker, loving mother and grandmother. Survivors Include Four Sons: Jim Miller and wife, Margaret of Spartanburg, South Carolina. Jay Miller and wife, Kay of Whitney, Texas. Cliff Miller and wife, Carol of Dumas, Texas. Roger Miller and wife, Debbie of Dumas, Texas. Nine Grandchildren: John Miller and wife, Jennifer; Amy Miller Wilson and husband, Wade; Kevin Miller, Julie Miller Chambers and husband, Gabe; Chance and Angela Miller, Melissa, Brittany and Lindsey Miller. Six Great Grandchildren: Trent and Peyton Wilson, Kaleb, London, Laurel Chambers, Destiny Miller and other nieces and nephews. Family will be at 625 Forrest In Dumas.
