Idella Blocker Crum

Idella (Blocker) Crum 89 of Dumas passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Matt Price, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 3 o’clock to 4 o’clock on Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Idella was born on November 23, 1935, in Wheeler, TX to L.B. and Othella Blocker. She married Raymond G. Crum on January 17, 1953; he preceded her in death 2013.They made their home on a farm in Castro County. In January 1990 the family moved to Dumas, TX to start a new business, Ace Spraying Service.

In addition to her husband, Raymond, she was preceded in death by her parents; daughter: Darla Kay Crum Taylor; son: Terry Gene Crum; 2 sisters: Betty Louis Blocker, Cora (Blocker) Jordan; 3 brothers: Roy Gaines Blocker, Clyde Lee Blocker, Claude Blocker.

Idella is survived by her daughter: Debra Crum Caudle and husband Geary of Amarillo, TX; 4 granddaughters: Monica and husband Brian, Rhonda, Tracy and husband Tim and Jessica; great-grandchildren: Chase, Chambrey, Jace, Kinsey, Logan, Grace, Sawyer, Ace, and Wyatt.
