Irma Yolanda Salcido Olague, 52 of Cactus, passed away early Monday morning June 22, 2020. A prayer service is scheduled for 5 oclock in the evening on Tuesday, June 23rd at Primera Iglesia Bautista in Dumas. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 24th at the church at 10 oclock in the morning with Rev. Jesus Rivera, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors.
Irma was born January 21, 1968 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Armando and Ma Del Rosario (Lara)Lopez. She married Manuel Salcido in Mexico on October 10, 1998. They moved to the Moore County area and raised their family. She was the life of the party at family gatherings and especially loved to spend time with her grandchildren. Irma enjoyed music of all varieties and all things associated with butterflies. She was a good cook and loved to make menudo and asado. In her spare time, Irma loved to travel just to see the country. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by a son: Angelo Salcido and an aunt: Ramona Lara.
Irma is survived by her husband Manuel of the home; her parents Armando and Ma Del Rosario Lopez; daughters: Zamantha Reyes and husband Victor, and Itzel Zamora and husband Julian all of Cactus; sisters: Norma Garcia and husband Luis of Dumas, and Virginia Lara of Mexico; brothers: Ramon Lopez of Mexico and Juan Lopez of Hooker, OK; grandchildren: Bryan Ordaz, Joselyn, Jennifer, Jarislady, and Brandon Barron and Angelo Salcido all of Cactus.
