Jackie Lee Brewster

Jackie Lee McClary Brewster, 86 formerly of Dumas, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3 o\x92clock in the afternoon on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Jonathan Zerby, pastor of Sunray Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Jackie was a native of Dumas, born June 21, 1928. She was a graduate of Dumas High School. Jackie was a resident of Amarillo, as well as a long-time resident of Irving, Texas. She graduated from West Texas State University and earned advanced degrees from Texas Women's University. Jackie was a career educator; first as public school teacher, then as a professor, then as an administrator in the university setting. She was married to her husband, Jim for 68 years. She is survived by her husband Jim, of the home; two sons, Richard and Warren Brewster; four grandchildren: Jack, Jamie, Paul and Rebecca; and a great-granddaughter, Ryleigh.
