Jackie Judd, 87, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 in Amarillo, Texas. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:30 P.M. on Monday, February 28, 2011 at Georgia Manor in Amarillo. Bryan Cooper, Chaplain at Georgia Manor will be officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Jackie was born on August 12, 1923 in Linn, Oklahoma to Earl and Velma Holden. She was a resident of various cities in the Texas Panhandle for over fifty years. She recently moved to Amarillo to be near her family. Jackie was a funloving person who loved life and had a great sense of humor. She also loved nature and all animals. Jackie was a beloved and devoted mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Jackie is survived by two daughters, Natacha Burk and husband Larry of Canyon and Darless Bishop and husband Don of Perryton one sister, June Samuels of Uvalde, TX three brothers, George Holden and wife Lois of Newman, CA, Jerry Holden and wife Barbara of Orange, CA, and Jimmy Raney and wife Vicky of Temecula, CA four grandchildren, Danny Bishop and wife Theresa of Amarillo, David Burk and wife Jeannie of Big Bear Lake, CA, Michael Burk of Amarillo and Denise Burk of Amarillo and five greatgrandchildren, Ty and Luke Bishop of Amarillo, Houston and Dallas Burk of Big Bear Lake, CA, and Jessie Marie Burk of Santa Fe, NM.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to a favorite charity.
