Jalane McWilliams, 77 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chris Fobbs, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock in the afternoon at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Jalane was born on October 31, 1943, in Silverton, TX to Herman and Coleene (Bomar) Robinson. She married James Arlon“Kat” McWilliams on February 5, 1960; he preceded her in death in 2011. Jalane loved spending time in her yard mowing and tending to her flowers. She was an exceptional mother who loved her children and grandchildren deeply. Throughout her life, Jalane was lovingly known to many as “Nanny”. She left an imprint on the hearts of all who ever met her. Jalane was of Baptist Faith and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
In addition to her husband “Kat” she was preceded in by her parents; brother: Randall Robinson.
Jalane is survived by her son: Scott McWilliams and wife Sherry of Dumas, TX; daughter: Tonya McWilliams of Dumas, TX; brother: Steven Robinson and wife Jill of Amarillo, TX; sister-in-law: Linda Robinson of Borger, TX; grandchildren: T.J. McWilliams, Shyla Jeffers, Landon Garcia, Dusty McWilliams, Christian McWilliams, and Jayci McWilliams; and 14 great-grandchildren.
