Jacqueline ''Jackie'' Carol Garcia, 53 of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 o' clock in the morning on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Sts Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia officiating. A Rosary will be recited at 7 o' clock in the evening on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Jackie was born November 15, 1961 in Litchfield, MN to Harold and Joyce (Haglund) Wackler . She was a longtime resident of Dumas. Jackie also owned and operated Red Lantern for over 30 years. She was known as a very giving person and always taking care of anyone in need. Jackie was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her father; brother: Bobby Wackler; and a son: Jamie Dalton. Jackie is survived by her husband, David Garcia, Sr. of the home; her children: Michael Wackler, Ruben Garcia, Veronica Leal, Kristi Leal, Juan Garcia, Amanda Britt, Debbie Medrano and husband Gabriel, David Garcia, Jr., Andy Garcia, and Sid Guel; her mother: Joyce Othon; her brothers and sisters: Kathy Roland, Shelly Watkins, Doug Wackler and wife Deletta, Brenda Tiger and husband Albert, Dennis Wackler and wife Eva; seventeen grandchildren; and numerous other extended family members. The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society, 403 Pear, Dumas, TX 79029. The family will be at 117 Bellaire.
