Jasil Garcia

Jasil Garcia, 34 of Victoria, formerly of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Morrison Memorial Chapel under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. A complete obituary will be available shortly.Jasil was born on October 4, 1986, in Elgrullo Jalisco, Mexico to Javier and Socorro (Hernandez) Garcia. He graduated from Dumas High School in 2005. Jasil eventually joined the United States Marines and honorably served from 2007 to 2011. He was stationed in Jacksonville, NC where he worked as a tank mechanic. On November 8, 2013, he married Emily Knapp in Amarillo, TX. He adored his children and enjoyed helping people. Jasil will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his father.Jasil is survived by his wife Emily of the home; children: Makayla, Jathan, Natalie, Eivan, and Lucianna Garcia all of the home; mother: Socorro Garcia of Dumas, TX; sisters: Marisol Garcia of Mexico and Susana Garcia of Houston, TX; brother: Javier Garcia of Dumas, TX.
