Jerry Don Parker, 48, of Fritch passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at MintonChatwell Funeral Home in Borger. Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Dumas will be officiating. Jerry will lie in state on Saturday Sunday from 12:00 to 8:00 PM at MintonChatwell Funeral Home in Fritch. Interment will be in Carter Cemetery, Carter, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Jerry was born on September 16, 1962 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Leon and Jackie Parker. He attended Carter High School in Carter, Oklahoma. In 1985, Jerry married Kimberly Kenyon in Borger, Texas. Jerry was selfemployed, and made his living as a truck driver. He passed away doing what he loved to do, coon hunting. He was very outgoing and loved to visit with people. Most of all, Jerry loved spending time with his grandbabies. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by an infant baby brother.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Kim of the home his father, Leon Parker and his mother, Jackie Brittian of OK one daughter, Tiffany Parker of Borger one son, Ray Don parker of Fritch one granddaughter, Makenzie Klotz one grandson, Zackson Dale Collins two brothers, Gary Parker and Bobby Parker, and one sister, Leigh Ann Parker, all of Oklahoma.
The family will be at 321 Navajo Drive in Fritch.
