Jesse Gonzales

Jesse Gonzales, 51, of Dumas, died Saturday, January 20, 2007, in Amarillo. Services will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at 2:00PM in Templo LibertadLiberty Ministries with Noel Gonzales, brother, officiating. Burial will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Mr. Gonzales was born March 24, 1955, in Tulia, TX to Antonio and Eloisa Gonzales. He had lived in Dumas and Moore County since 1993 and worked as a maintenance mechanic. He was preceded in death by his father Antonio Gonzales. Survivors include: his wife, Esther, of the home; four sons, Jesse Gonzales, Jr., Matthew Gonzales, Michael Gonzales and Rudy Gonzales all of Amarillo; three daughters, Irene Owens, Rosa Lopez and Lee Ann Slevani all of Amarillo; one step-son, H. Daniel Calderon of Arlington, TX; two step-daughters, R. Nohemy Calderon of Amarillo and A. Angelica Calderon of Arlington, TX; his mother, Eloisa Gonzales of Dumas; four brothers, Noel Gonzales and Ricky Gonzales of Dumas and Chris Gonzales and Rudy Gonzales of Amarillo; six sisters, Eva Arismendiz of Abilene, TX, Precila Botello, Beatrice Mena and Isabell Amparan all of Amarillo, and Lupe Valancia and Mary Charles both of Perry, OK; thirteen grandchildren and fifty nieces and nephews.
