Jimmie D. Eads

Jimmie D. Eads, 66, passed away Sunday, March 28, 2010. Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, April 1, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. H.L. Stevens, retired minister officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Jimmie was born July 5, 1943 in Dumas, Texas to Pete and Jamie Eads. In 1962 he graduated from Dumas High School. On September 3, 1982 he married Gen Wright in Dumas. Until his retirement he worked as an automobile repair man and painter. Jimmie liked to restore old cars. He had been a resident of Dumas most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Gen of the home children, Shawna Eads of Albuquerque, NM, Shelley Swart of Oklahoma City, Bau Vette Wolff and husband, Allen of Cushing, Okla brother, Jerry Eads and wife Barbara of Dumas 5 grandchildren and nephew, Jimmy Eads and wife, LaRita greatnephew, Jake Eads greatnieces, Jessika and Jordyn Eads all of Dumas The family suggests memorials be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 15186, Austin, TX 78761. The family will be at 512 Floyd in Dumas.
