Jimmy Wayne Eads, 49 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, October 19, 2015 at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Damon Akins, pastor of First Assembly of God, and Rev. Johnny Widener, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 o'clock until 5 o'clock on Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.
Jimmy was born on June 21, 1966 in Dumas to Jerry and Barbara (Little) Eads. He grew up in Dumas and was a graduate of Dumas High School. He had been employed at Valero as a supervisor where he had worked for over 20 years. Jimmy was united in marriage to LaRita Jeffries on July 14, 2007 in Kyle, TX.
Jimmy played baseball in his younger years and most recently coached little league baseball. He loved old cars and also enjoyed duck hunting with his friends. He and LaRita were very active in Go RUCK where they made numerous friends. Jimmy will be missed by his family and many dear friends.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his grandparents: Pete and Jamie Eads and Everett and Louise Little; and uncles Jim Eads, Charles Little, and Dale Little.
He is survived by his wife LaRita of the home; daughters: Jessika Eads of the home and Jordyn Eads of Arkansas; son: Jake Eads of Arkansas; step-sons: Holton Butler of Colorado and Taylon Crippen of the home; parents: Jerry and Barbara Eads of Dumas; father and mother in law: Roger and Susie Jeffries of Stratford; brother in law Robert Jeffries and wife Joana of New Braunfels, TX and many close and dear friends.
