Joe Little Joe Salcido, 60 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Pastor Jesus Rivera, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Little Joe was born August 21, 1954 in Lubbock, TX to Jose and Petra Olalde Salcido. He had been a resident of Dumas for the past 50 years. Little Joe loved having cookouts and especially loved his nieces and nephews. Family was very important to Little Joe they brought him great joy. He had a deep interest in aviation especially military jets. He also enjoyed boxing and was an avid 49ers fan. Little Joe was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Big Joe Salcido in 2010 Colby Salcido, Angel Salcido, and Preston Bain. Little Joe is survived by his mother: Petra Salcido of Dumas, TX five sisters: Christina Miller and husband Jay of South Carolina, Nati Ortiz and husband David, Amanda Gutierrez and husband Arturo all of Dumas, TX Leticia Brown and husband Ronnie of Austin, TX, Michelle Salcido of Amarillo, TX four brothers: Eddie Salcido and Ernest Salcido and wife Yolanda all of Dumas, TX Manuel Salcido and wife Sherry, and Robert Salcido and wife Shawn all of Amarillo, TX and many nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 11454, Alexandria, VA, 22312. The family will be at 904 Miller.
