John C. Ward IV, 38, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, January 4, 2010 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Brother Carlos Rodriguez, pastor of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints officiating.brbrJohn was born July 14, 1971 in Lexington, Kentucky to John and Phyllis Ward. He was employed by Lowes Supermarket. He was a gentle person and will be missed by all who knew him. John was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints and had been a resident of Dumas since 1993.brbrSurvivors include; his father, John C. Ward III of Dumas, his mother, Phyllis Ward, brother, Jason and sister, Sabrina Ward all of Thelma, KY; his best friend and companion, Elizabeth Jackson of Dumas; uncle Bert Ward of New Zealand; aunts, Helen Lucero of Tularosa, NM, Virginia Hermes of Overland Park, KS, and Carole Godinez of Amarillo, and numeous cousins and friends.brbrThe family suggests memorials be to the American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Rd, Suite 12-A, Lubbock, TX 79424.
