Joil Dale Daves

Joil Dale Daves, 87 of Dumas passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024.  A Memorial Service is  scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Billy Rammage, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. 

Dale was born June 21, 1936 to Joil and Roxie (Faircloth) Daves. Dale honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and he married Linda Bowling in 1958 in Clayton, NM.  Dale worked at the Helium Plant as a steelman until his retirement then moved to Dumas. Dale loved all animals but especially horses.  He also enjoyed his grandchildren and supporting them in their activities.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Gregory Dale; siblings: Wayne, Bonnie, Donald, and Tracy.

Dale is survived by his wife: Linda Daves of the home; children: Troy Daves and wife Cindy of Tryon, OK, Lorie Shafer and husband Steve of Dumas, TX, Shelly Paschal and husband Bucky of Guthrie, OK; sister: Betty Waters of Perryton, TX; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
