Jose Reyes Michel, 66 of Stratford, passed away on Sunday, June 13, 2021. A Rosary will be recited at 4 o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Stratford Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Jose was born on January 7, 1955, in Mexico to Severo and Maximina (Toscano) Michel. He married Adelaida Rosales on April 12, 1982, in Santana, CA. Jose worked for Stratford Feedyard for over 18 years. He had many interests; he especially enjoyed the outdoors. Jose loved hunting, fishing, and rodeos. He also enjoyed music and traveling to Mexico. Jose was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Jose is survived by his wife, Adelaida of the home; sons: Hugo Rosales, David Michel, Jose Michel, Jr., Victor Michel; daughters: Brenda Michel and Carina Michel; brothers: Sixto Michel and Javier Michel; sisters: Catalina Michel, Delia Michel, Nena Michel, Hilda Michel; 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.José nació el 7 de enero de 1955, en México, hijo de Severo Michel y Maximina Toscano. Se casó con Adelaida Rosales el 12 de abril de 1982, en Santana, CA. José trabajó para Stratford Feedyard por más de 18 años. Tenía muchos intereses; disfrutó especialmente del aire libre.
