Josefina Santome

Josefina Santome, 62, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010. Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, September 8, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 9 at Our Lady of Guadalupe in Cactus with Fr. Carlos Palomo as celebrant. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Josefina was born May 6, 1948 in El Paso to Manuel and M. Guadalupe Santome. She and Pedro Bolanos have been companions for 48 years. She was a homemaker and a beloved and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Josefina was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Survivors include her husband Pedro of the home sons, Enrique Bolanos and wife Esmeralda of Dalhart, Pedro Santome Jr, Jorge Bolanos and Jessica Gonzalez all of Cactus daughters, Elizabeth Bolanos and fiance, Lorenzo Valles, Susana Bolanos and fiance, Francisco Polanco of Amarillo, Veronica Balanos of Cactus, and Estrella Caroline Bolanos of Cactus 13 grandchildren and 9 greatgrandchildren. The family suggest memorial be to the American Diabetes Association, 8008 Slide Rd. 12A, Lubbock, TX 79424 or to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, PO Box118, Cactus, Tx. 79013.
