Joyce Ward 79 passed away Sunday, September 16, 2007 in Dumas, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 20, 2007 in Dumas Cemetery with Dr. Mark Scott, pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating. Joyce was born August 5, 1928 in North Hollywood, California to Harold and Vestina Gardner. She had been a taxi cab driver in Los Angeles and Denver. Joyce was a bookkeeper for Saunders Electric of Dumas for 18 years. Survivors include; daughter, Linda Lee Lowy and granddaughter Bobbi Lynn McClain both of Glendale, AZ.
