Juan N. Balderrama

Juan N. Balderrama, 72 of Cactus, passed away early Friday evening, September 27, 2019. The Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6 oclock at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas. A funeral mass is scheduled for 3 oclock in the afternoon, Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Dumas with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Juan was born May 16, 1947 in Satevo, Mexico to Fedrico and Socorro (Rodriguez) Balderrama. He married Silvia Juarez in Chihuahua, Mexico June 20, 1971 and they lived in Cactus, Texas where they raised their family. Juan had retired from JBS in Cactus and enjoyed spending his time being outside, alone with his thoughts. He liked to fish and spend time with his family. Juan was a wonderful grandfather to his grand-children and he loved them very much. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Federico and Mario Balderrama and a grandson: Carlos Balderrama. Juan is survived by his wife Silvia of the home; sons: Mario Balderrama of Mexico, Juan Carlos Balderrama and wife Casandra of Amarillo; daughters: Yadira Balderrama of Mexico, Mayra Balderrama of Dumas; brother: Jose Balderrama of Hereford; grandchildren: Silvia and Yuliana Villarreal, Juan D. Balderrama, Adriana Florez, Manuel Villalobos, Luis Perez, Alberto Balderrama, Jaquelyn Herrera; and great grand children: Zavier Vargas, Ardena Samples, Legend Balderrama, Immaculate Balderrama, Abrian Perez and young Roman Balderrama.
