Juanita Flores

Juanita Flores, 89 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Aposento Alto with Pastor Jose Contreras, officiating. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Juanita was born on June 8, 1926 in White Face, TX to Maximino and Inez (Aguilar) Ortiz. She was united in marriage in Plainview, TX to Frank Flores, Sr.; he preceded her in death in 1996. Juanita loved to cook. Most importantly, she loved church and serve the Lord. She was a member of Aposento Alto. Juanita will be dearly missed by her family and friends. In addition to her husband, Frank, she is preceded in death by her parents; son: Max Flores and four brothers and sisters. Juanita is survived by her sons: Frank Flores, Jr. and wife Alejandra, Arturo Flores, Johnny Flores , Daniel Flores, Ricky Flores and wife Kim all of Dumas; daughters: Teresa Guzman and husband Nasario of Dumas, Maria Inez Riojas of Plainview, Maggie Flores of Hale Center; three sisters; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
