Juanita Whitley Harvey 76 passed away Thursday, May 8, 2008 in Dumas, Texas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, May 12,2008 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor of Temple Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Juanita Whitley Harvey was born February 19, 1932 in Strong City, Oklahoma to Dewey and Gladious McKay. She loved people, gardening and fishing. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother. Juanita was a member of the VFW auxiliary and served a term as the president. She had been a resident of Dumas and Moore County all her life and attended church at Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include; sons, Joe Whitley of Bloomfield, NM, Eddie Whitley and wife Paula of McDonoudh, GA, Les Whitley and wife Janet of Taloga, OK, Wes Whitley and wife, Glenna of Dumas; daughter, Mary Smith and husband, Edwin of Wolfforth; sister Ida Belle Trammell of Dumas and brother, Donald Ray McKay of Elk City, OK; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will be at 1016 NE 6th in Dumas.
