Kathy LeAnn Baldwin

Kathy LeAnn Baldwin, 52 of Dumas passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Encounter Church with Pastor Grady Burkhalter, officiating, assisted by Pastor Nancy James. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Kathy was on December 10, 1970, in Dumas, TX to Billy and Leoda (Keith) Burkhalter. She grew up in Dumas where she attended Dumas High School. She married Mike Baldwin on November 21, 1989 in Dumas, TX. Kathy was a people person who always had a smile on her face and gave the best hugs. She worked at the Garden Center for over 18 years where she loved helping and visiting with the customers. She was a member of Encounter Church and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; sister: Gwyn King; brother: Scott Burkhalter.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Mike of the home; daughter: Amber Baldwin of Dumas, TX; sons: Michael Chase Baldwin of Pampa, TX and Brady Wayne Baldwin of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Anthony, Aaliyah, Toni Dawn; mother: Leoda Burkhalter of Dumas, TX; brother: Grady Burkhalter and wife Leslie of Dumas, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and family members.
