Kathy Jane Gallegos

Kathy Jane Gallegos, 58 of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. A funeral service is scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Kathy was born on October 9, 1961 in Tokyo, Japan to Daniel and Kiyoko (Takao) Gallegos. She had been a resident of Dumas for the past 10 years. Kathy was a member of Seventh Day Adventist and was very devoted to her faith; she loved studying the bible. Family was very important to Kathy. She was a very loving, caring mother and grandmother. Kathy will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents; son: Claro Montes; brothers: James and Chris Gallegos. Kathy is survived by her children: Michael Montes and wife Mary of Dumas, Sara Montes and Andre Dellacqua of Federal Heights, CO, Jazmine Gallegos of Sioux City, IA, Reyna Chavira of Greeley, CO, and Alizea Gallegos of Dumas, TX; sister: Mary Nicholson of Aurora, CO; grandchildren: Miguel, Marcus, Nevaeh, Matthew, Ellen, Celine, Jasmine, Cesar, Angeleen, Isabella, Johnathan, Alyiah, Jeremiah, Kianna, Jose, and Elijah, Alexia, and Josefina; great-grandchild: Clarina; niece and nephew: Rey Navarette and Alahna Navarette.
