Kathy Lolita Jones

Kathy Lolita Jones, 59 of Dumas passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Monday, March 27, 2023 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Wait, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 o’clock to 4 o’clock in the afternoon at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Kathy was born on August 31, 1963 in Dumas, TX to Ronald and Doris (Barton) Dow.  She grew up in Dumas and graduated from Dumas High School.  Kathy worked in the prison system for 14 years and was also an excellent homemaker, cook and seamstress.  Kathy loved the holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas and would decorate elaborately for each one.  She was of Baptist Faith and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, son, John Jones and daughter, Sarah Jones.

Kathy is survived by her daughters: Kristina Perry and Roman Ceniceros of Amarillo, TX, Jennifer Jones of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Kadince, Sareenah, Everett, Mykia all of Amarillo, TX; sisters: Sandi Allen of Dumas, TX, Mattye Calvery and husband James of Dumas, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

The family will be at 502 Cedar.
