Keith Carlson

Keith Carlson, 65 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6:00 in the evening on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Masonic Lodge in Dumas. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 1:30 pm Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Olinger-Crownhill Cemetery in Wheatridge, CO. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Keith was born April 5, 1950 in Glendale, CA to Roy and Virginia (Anderson) Carlson. He was a resident of Dumas for over 28 years. Keith earned his Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Denver. On June 30, 1984, he was united in marriage to Carol Jean in Denver, CO. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed fishing. Keith was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #1009 and First United Methodist Church. He will be missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents. Keith is survived by his wife Carol and his son, Cody Carlson of both of Dumas, TX, stepchildren: Lee Hite and wife Jeanne of Lakeview, OR and Heide Fay Lor of Denver, CO; brother: Douglas Carlson and wife Linda of Idaho Falls, Idaho; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.
