Kevin Wayne Potter

Kevin Wayne Potter, 67 of Dumas passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chris Fobbs, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 o’clock to 3 o’clock in the afternoon at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Kevin was born on December 2, 1955 in Dumas, TX. He grew up in Austin graduating from Lanier High School.  He met Lesi Sissom in Pampa, TX and the couple married in June of 1978.  They moved to Dumas in 1980 where they made their home and raised their daughter.  Kevin drove a truck for almost 50 years.  He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.  His favorite past time was spending time with his grandchildren whom he adored.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Lesi, of the home; daughter: Melanie Yandell and husband Phillip of Shattuck, OK; grandchildren: Piper and Harper Yandell.
