Lana Iverach

Lana Gail Iverach, 79, of Dumas, Texas passed away on March 22, 2023 in Dumas, Texas.  Services will be at 11 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.  The family will recieve friends on Friday from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock in the evening at the funeral home. 

Lana was born on April 30th, 1943 in Weston, Texas to JC Skipworth and Alpha Oleta Estep Self.  She was raised by Carl “Bob” Self. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1961 and attended Clarendon Community College secretarial school.  Lana was of the Episcopal faith and a devout Christian. She was a talented painter, enjoyed gardening, music, and interior design. She travelled the world and also enjoyed staying home with family, drinking hot tea on her deck.  Lana was a strong-willed and selfless mother and inspiration to her grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her father, JC Skipworth, step-father Carl Self, step-sister, Diana Self Williams.

Those left to honor her memory are her mother, Oleta Self; children, Ambra Finstad and husband, Doyle; Eric Glover and wife, Diane; brothers Larry Skipworth, and Charles Skipworth, and wife Ellen; grand-children, Brittany Marshall, Michael Finstad, and Caleb Roquemore; and nephew Brandon Skipworth, and wife Kylene, children Lauren and Allyson; nephew Derek Skipworth, and wife, Kyra, children Brailyn and Calloway; and many other loved family members.
