Linda Street

Linda Street, 58, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 15, 2010 at Dumas Cemetery with Major Tina Kirkpatrick, her daughter officiating. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post 224 of Dumas. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Linda Street was born September 11, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA to Seymore and Rita Gave. In October of 1970, she married John Street in Belaire, Maryland. She had been a resident of Dumas for the past seven years, and was a former Dalhart resident. Linda served in the US Army from 1969 to 1971, and worked in the childcare industry. She was preceded in death by her father, and son, John Street in December 2009. Survivors include her husband, John F. Street of the home mother, Rita Gave of Philadelphia daughter, Tina Kirkpatrick of Encintas, California and five grandchildren. The family suggest memorials be to Dumas Nursing Rehab, 315 E. 19th, Dumas, TX 79029.
