Lisa Gayle Albert

Lisa Gayle Albert, 61 of Stratford passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Stratford Cemetery with Pastor Grady Burkhalter, officiating. Arrangements are under the directions of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Lisa was born on October 23, 1961 to Raymond and Mary Lou (Wells) Albert in Dumas, TX. She graduated from Stratford Hight School. Lisa went on to attend cosmetology school where she received her license. She took pride in her profession. Lisa made sure she gave every child in her family their first haircut. 

Lisa loved to fish and watch American Idol. Her greatest joy were her grandchildren and her dog Rosey. She embraced her role as “Nene” to her 3 grandchildren. She was a member of Church of Christ and will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Albert, brother: Steve Albert; grandmother: Rose Wells; grandfather: Pup Wells; and companion: Tommy Ewers.

Lisa is survived by her mother: Mary Lou “Shorty” Albert of Stratford, TX; daughter: Mary Ashley Kurtz and husband Erik of Stratford; brother: Joe Albert and wife Bryanna of Stratford, TX; grandchildren: Keily, Kyle, and Koda all of Stratford, TX; sister-in-law: Carrie Albert; nieces and nephews: Chance Albert, Skyler Albert, Lexxie Reeves, Hunter Albert, and Lynley Albert.
