Lisa Diane Honea Casados, 51 formerly of Dumas, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in Amarillo. Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Dumas. Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor of Temple Baptist Church will be officiating. There will be a family visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Lisa was born on July 26, 1961 in Fort Benning, Georgia to David and Saundra Hance Honea. She grew up in Dumas, graduating from Dumas High School in 1979. She had lived in Amarillo for the last several years where she worked as an insurance agent. Lisa was very devoted to her family. She had a very loving and carefree nature. She loved life and was young at heart. Lisa always had a big smile for everyone she met, and she had a unique laugh that she will always be remembered for. Lisa will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Lisa leaves behind her parents, David and Saundra Honea of Plano one son, Chris Casados and Starlite White of San Antonio one daughter, Crystal Casados of Amarillo one sister, Shari Honea Mason of Dumas five grandchildren, Trinity Casados, Brenlie Casados, Evan Grisham, Creed Casados and Caleb Casados two nieces, Ashley Mason of Dumas and Allison Mason of McAlester, OK one aunt, Martha Rhynes and husband Lonny of Sherman and one uncle, Aaron Honea of Hilo, Hawaii. The family suggests memorials be to Cal Farleys Boys Ranch, P. O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79105 or To Write Love On Her Arms, P. O. Box 2203, Melbourne, FL 32902. The family will be at 221 Plum in Dumas.
