Lona Line

Lona Line, 75 formerly of Dumas, passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Church of Christ in Sunray with David Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Lona was born on June 5, 1940 in Cordell, OK to L.R. and Jeanetta (Owen) Shockley. She was united in marriage to Raymond Line; he preceded her in death in 1990. Lona earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education. She was an avid reader and gardener and volunteered at a hospital and food bank. Lona was a member of North Davis Church of Christ in Arlington, TX. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; she will be missed by her family and friends. In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents. Lona is survived by her daughter: Leslie Line of Arlington, TX; son: David Line and wife Jenny of Roswell, NM; grandchildren: Taylor, Angela, and Shelby Line; brother: Ron Shockley and wife Pat of San Ramon, CA; sister: Linda Wilson of Borger, TX; and four nieces and nephews.
