Lucille Pool

Lucille Pool, 91 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2012. Services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012, at First Assembly of God in Dumas with Rev. Damon Akins, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Lucille was born June 18, 1921 in Bonham, Texas to Allen and Velma Tyler Wooten. She was united in marriage to Bob Pool and together they raised seven children. He preceded her in death in 1986. Lucille was a very dedicated homemaker who loved her family deeply. She had been a resident of Dumas for sixtytwo years. Lucille was a faithful member of First Assembly of God in Dumas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Velma Wooten her husband, Bob Pool one son, Gary Pool one grandson, Terry Stewart and one greatgreat grandchild, Terry Walter Farni. Lucille leaves behind four sons, Bobby Pool and wife Jennifer of Weatherford, OK, Jimmy Pool and wife Marsha of Dumas, Charles Pool and wife Carolyn of Clinton, OK, and Jerry Pool and wife Terry of Cordell, OK two daughters, Betty Brady of Dumas and Twila Bingham of Amarillo one sister, Jean Bourland of Canute, OK fifteen grandchildren, Bobby Joe Pool of Colorado, Peggy Jean Pool of Houston, Lisa Smith, Raymond Brady and wife Stacey, and Jimmy Don Pool, all of Dumas, Tommy Brady and wife Jennifer of California, Marlene Pool of New Hampshire, Bob Pool of Dallas, Rex Petrey and wife Sevtlana of Amarillo, Sarina Robertson and husband Mike, Christy Lacy and husband Joe, and Linda Pool, all of Clinton, Justin Pool and wife Stormy, Dustin Pool, and Chad Pool and wife Rebecca, all of Cordell, OK twenty great grandchildren and five greatgreat grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the American Diabetes Association, P. O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. The family will be at 1428 FM 2203 in Dumas.
